Altan Dalamiq
born and raised in the azim steppe, altan spent his childhood spearfishing with his father and training to become a recognized warrior of the steppe under his mother. after the death of his father and being disowned by his tribe, he spent a couple of years living in solitude.with the steppe being a constant reminder of the family he no longer had, altan left for eorzea where he ended up in gridania. there, he studied to become a dragoon due to his familiarity with spears. eventually, he encountered the scions of the seventh dawn and began his adventure as warrior of light.
Ingunn Roda
ingunn spent her childhood helping her village take care of their forest home in the skatay range and training in hand-to-hand combat to become a monk. she was also the primary caretaker of her younger brother, ivar, and she willingly followed him when he eventually left their home for eorzea.despite her apathy towards their mission, ingunn became a member of the scions of the seventh dawn to keep an eye on her brother.she eventually left the scions to settle down in ishgard and train to become a machinist after a falling out with her brother.
Ivar "Bingo" Roda
ivar was born in the skatay range and primarily raised by his older sister, ingunn. as he got closer to adulthood, he realized he didn't want to be a wood-warder and chose to leave orthard behind to pursue a life of adventure making use of his skills as a bard.followed by his sister, ivar traveled to eorzea and quickly joined the scions of the seventh dawn after befriending tataru taru.with an incredibly active role in the scions, ivar eventually trained as a dancer after he became uncomfortably aware of his short-comings in close combat.
A'Nori Dhen
a'nori was born and raised by chocobo hunters in tailfeather. with very few people his age around, he had an isolating and lonely childhood and spent most of his time assisting his parents with chocobos and studying the local flora and fauna.wanting independence from his overbearing mother, a'nori moved to ishgard where he initially relied on pickpocketing to survive. he is eventually gifted daggers from a friend and trains to become a ninja for protection.eventually, with his love and knowledge of chocobos, he landed a job at the holy stables and spends his free time self-studying botany.
Volos Zlatasch
volos was born and raised in bozja and was conscripted into the garlean army as a young adult. during his time in the army he honed his skills as both a gunbreaker and a blacksmith. he eventually escaped to ishgard and got a job at the skysteel manufactory.while living in ishgard, he eventually reunited with an old friend who had become affiliated with the scions of the seventh dawn and he decided to join the order as well.with a passion for women and alcohol, volos can often be found indulging in both at the seventh heaven bar.
Aislona Haldhyrtwyn
born and raised in limsa lominsa , aislona spent her time loitering around the docks where her mother worked. extremely extroverted, she easily befriended dock workers and sailors alike, and became fascinated with the ocean and sea travel.after the death of her mother when she was only a teenager, aislona lied her way into a job as a navel mercenary and became efficient with a battle-axe as a warrior.eventually, she left her career of violence for a more typical sailor role aboard a different ship.
Shimo Liautroix
shimo was born in kugane but raised in sharlayan after she was adopted by the liautroix family. as an adult, she studied to become a sage at the studium. however, she dropped her studies after the students of baldesion went missing in favor of journeying with krile to eorzea.in eorzea, shimo joined the scions of the seventh dawn in the hopes of eventually uncovering what happened to the missing scholars, including her best friend.eventually, shimo joined krile and the warrior of light in exploring the isle of val.
Janvier Liautroix
born and raised in sharlayan to an incredibly wealthy and influential family, janvier had a very privileged upbringing. incredibly intelligent, he was accepted into the studium at a young age where he studied history and geography.his interest in the history of the ancient city of nym and their military strength led him to limsa lominsa, where he eventually became a scholar himself.after learning that his younger sister, shimo, had traveled to eorzea in pursuit of her own goals, he joined her as a scion of the seventh dawn.
